BEHIND THE STORIES
Ever since I was a child, I have invented stories and felt the need to give shape to the ideas that appear in my mind.
I enjoy telling human stories, but I also like exploring mystery and the things that lie beyond what we know. And although my books reveal a lot about me, there is still more worth discovering.
Meet the author →I have been making up stories since childhood. Some stayed in my head; others became short stories. I have always felt the need to shape all those ideas that appear without warning and share them with anyone who wants to discover them.
I am drawn to human, grounded stories, with characters readers can empathise with, feel for and recognise themselves in, even if only in a small detail. But I am also passionate about exploring mystery and what lies beyond the human, venturing into the unknown and discovering what might hide on the other side of what we think we understand.
For me, writing is much more than creating stories. It is a need, a way to organise what I carry inside and perhaps understand the world around me a little better.
When I am not writing, I sometimes feel that something is out of place. I do not know whether it is the world, or whether I am the one who needs to return to words.
Perhaps that is why I keep writing.
